Friday Field Trip: Jordanelle Dam

We are members of 3 homeschool groups…have I said this before???…forgive me.  Anywho…we get some curriculum through K-12….so we are invited to all of their field trips, our valley has a homeschool group and we are invited to those field trips, and then our co-op does field trips also.  So there are always lots to choose from and we can’t make them all, but every group does some really fun activities…that I would never do on my own!

A couple weeks ago we went with our valley’s homeschool group to the dam at Jordanelle State Park.  We got to tour all of their buildings and go to the top of the dam and learn the ways they use the water and how it benefits our valley.  It was dang cool!   And dang cold (as you can see by the kids’ faces)!   This was one field trip that I am glad we were able to make it to!

About {Modern} Pioneer Girl

Who knew a girl raised in the city on fruit loops and main stream education...would grow up to be a country girl who loves everything pioneer, homeschools her 3 littles, and has morphed into a crazy chicken lady. Welcome to My Unlikely Life! Here you will see everything from raising my beloved chickens, being a mom and homeschooling my kids, and living in the country. I love everything about it...and I hope you do too!
