HVZA Week 1

We were finally able to start our commonwealth group (HVZA)!  My kids were so excited for the first day to start.   When we got there, we started with prayer as a group…then we split and dove right in to Spanish.  It was such a great class!  Then the girls did an IEW writing class, which I am hoping will help them with their writing (especially Tryn who struggles with mental roadblocks), then we did geography class — all were 45 minutes classes.  Next was a 1/2 hour lunch…then science and art!  In between classes the kids have about 10 minutes, while the teachers switch and set up, where the kids play together.  They have already made a couple really great friends!  I am so excited about all the fun times we are going to have with our group…I love all the ladies and the kids are really great kids!

About {Modern} Pioneer Girl

Who knew a girl raised in the city on fruit loops and main stream education...would grow up to be a country girl who loves everything pioneer, homeschools her 3 littles, and has morphed into a crazy chicken lady. Welcome to My Unlikely Life! Here you will see everything from raising my beloved chickens, being a mom and homeschooling my kids, and living in the country. I love everything about it...and I hope you do too!
