Update on the Littles

Ever since the little chicks’ traumatizing night when 5 got murdered…they have been in with the big girls.  They have actually done very well!  I have always been so nervous about adding new birds to existing ones because I know there is a pecking order and I don’t want the new ones, especially the littles, to get picked on!  I have watched them closely and the littles know where they stand and they can run a lot faster then the big girls.  Overall they get along just fine!  The littles are usually the last to eat…and do get chased off often, but they are all growing and alive so I count the two coming together a success!  It is also very nice to have them all in one coop and to have the automatic door opener so that they are always safe. <3 my chickens!

PS.  Chickens do not like cottage cheese… (in pics below)
