Commonwealth Kickoff

The commonwealth we joined is made up with only 10 families per group.  So far there are 3 groups of 10 families.  I am part of the Gimel group.  It is set up according to the ways that they put Mormon pioneer families together so that no family would be forgotten and all families had a responsibility.  The commonwealth is a very religious group…which I love because I know that God needs to be in our lives MORE rather than less.

We were able to go to the opening kick-off night and meet lots of families in the commonwealth.  We all brought supplies to put together school supply boxes for refugee kids in our area.  The kids got to help put all the kits together.   It was a great night to meet everyone and get to know our group better.

About {Modern} Pioneer Girl

Who knew a girl raised in the city on fruit loops and main stream education...would grow up to be a country girl who loves everything pioneer, homeschools her 3 littles, and has morphed into a crazy chicken lady. Welcome to My Unlikely Life! Here you will see everything from raising my beloved chickens, being a mom and homeschooling my kids, and living in the country. I love everything about it...and I hope you do too!
